Specification
RBD palm olein, iodine value 56 minimum, free fatty acid 0.1% maximum, moisture 0.1% maximum. Remains clear and pourable at ambient Somali temperatures.
Why olein rather than crude palm
Olein is the liquid fraction. It stays clear where crude clouds and separates, so it moves faster off a shelf.
Packing and the retail trade
20 L is the volume line for traders and caterers. The small cartons are where label quality decides sell-through. Own-label is available at origin subject to volume.
What we check
IV and FFA are verified by the refinery certificate of analysis and confirmed by independent pre-shipment inspection. Jerrycan seal integrity is inspected on discharge.
