Who we sell to
Five kinds of buyer, wanting five different things from the same five lines. What a bakery needs from flour is not what a trader needs from it.
Wholesale traders
Bakaara and the regional markets. Buying by the container and moving it on quickly, so what matters is landed price, consistency between shipments, and stock being there when the last lot sells out.
What they need
- Full container lots
- Ex-warehouse or CFR
- Consistent grade between shipments
Supermarket chains
Buying retail packs by the pallet on a repeating cycle. Label quality and pack presentation decide sell-through, and a gap on the shelf costs more than a slightly better price.
What they need
- Retail packs by pallet
- Delivered in city
- Own-label at origin subject to volume
Bakeries
The most specification-sensitive buyers we have. A bakery that changes flour changes its process, so flour goes out on monthly offtake contracts against a held protein band rather than spot.
What they need
- Held protein band
- Monthly offtake contract
- Milling date stated on delivery
Hotel and catering kitchens
Buying catering formats across several lines at once and needing one delivery rather than five. Volume is steady and predictable, and reliability matters more than the last shilling.
What they need
- Catering packs
- Multi-line delivery
- Standing weekly or monthly order
NGO and institutional buyers
Tender buyers feeding institutions and programmes. Documentation is the requirement: specification, certificate of analysis, independent inspection and origin, all evidenced rather than asserted.
What they need
- Tender documentation
- Independent inspection certificates
- Certificate of origin
Getting started
What a first order looks like
Four steps, and you can start with a phone call.
- One
- You tell us the lines, the volume and where you want them. An enquiry by phone or WhatsApp is enough to start.
- Two
- We quote against a written specification, stating the grade, the packing, the delivery terms and how long the price holds.
- Three
- We contract, and agree payment terms. Ex-stock lines can move immediately; contract lines are scheduled against a shipment.
- Four
- We deliver ex-warehouse, into the city, or to your port, with the delivery note stating the remaining shelf life.
